                                          SCCM Client Installation Issues

Error Code – 1618 – Another Installation in progress

Step 1: Stop/Kill Windows installer process in User machine;

Select msiexec.exe process->right click->kill process

 

Step 2: Refresh and check the Wind Installer process running or not, if yes then Step 3

Step 3: Uninstall SCCM client (Find source here -> C:\Windows\ccmsetup\cache)

Step 4: Copy the new client software to c:\temp (ccmsetup.exe)

Step 5: Execute the installation cmd of client installation.
